NHLBI Small Business Program
The NHLBI Small Business Program enables US-owned and operated small businesses to engage in research and development on innovative and commercially promising products and services to prevent, diagnose, and treat heart, lung, and blood-related diseases and disorders.
Funding for small business research is available through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) mechanisms. For an overview of these mechanisms, please visit ABOUT THE PROGRAMS. You can also explore current NHLBI SBIR/STTR funding opportunities here.
